Kerala NEET 2020 MBBS Seat Matrix
Seat Matrix means the total number of Seats available in all participating Colleges for a particular course in different Category and different Quota. Generally the Seat Matrix is published or Released by respective counselling authorities, Seat Matrix released for each academic session as the number of seats keeps on changing every year. Seat Matrix Is one of the most important factors affecting NEET Cut Off as the fewer number of seats lead to higher Cut-Offs. So Seat Matrix helps the candidates in selecting the right College and right course according to the availability of Seats.
The Present Year Seat Matrix has not been released until now by the respective authorities, for the time being candidates can check the Last Year Seat Matrix for reference purpose.
In Kerala total 30 Medical Colleges approved by MCI and Participating in NEET Counselling. Out of these 30 Medical Colleges, 10 are Government Medical Colleges, 6 are private Non Minority Medical Colleges and 14 are Private Minority Medical Colleges and Out of these 14 Private Minority Medical Colleges, 7 are Christian Minority Medical Colleges and 7 are Muslim Minority Medical Colleges. Apart from these In Kerala 1 Deemed Medical College approved by MCI and Participating in NEET Counselling.. In Kerala total 4005 MBBS Seats available. Out of these 4005 MBBS Seats, 1555 MBBS Seats are available in Government Medical Colleges, 800 MBBS Seats are available in Private Non-minority Medical Colleges and 1650 MBBS Seats are available in Private Minority Medical colleges.
Out of these 1555 MBBS Seats in Government Medical Colleges, 233 MBBS seats are allotted to All India 15% Quota Seats, 24 MBBS Seats are allotted to under Central Government Nominees and 1298 MBBS Seats are allotted to under State Government Quota.
Out of 2450 MBBS Seats in Private Medical Colleges, 1773 MBBS Seats are allotted to state Merit Quota (General), 314 MBBS Seats are allotted to All India Management Quota and 363 MBBS Seats are allotted to Under NRI Quota. In Kerala Private Medical colleges MBBS Seats Classified into three catrgories 1) NRI Quota-15% of total Intake, 2) State Merit Quota-85% of 85% total Intake, 3) All India Management Quota-15% of 85% total Intake,
Note: 30% Seats in the 50% Management Quota Seats of Private Minority Medical Colleges are reserved for Minority Quota Seats.
In Kerala One Deemed medical College approved by MCI and Participating in NEET Counselling that is Amrita school of Medicine, Ernakulam with annual intake of 150 MBBS Seats..
All the seats at Minority College will be filled by the respective minority candidate and if particular Minority candidate is not available then the remaining seats will be filled by general candidates.
In Kerala Total number of 1, 10,206 candidate appeared in NEET UG 2019 and 73,385 number of candidates qualified NEET UG 2019. so In Kerala NEET UG 2019 Qualified percentage is 66.59%
